FabriCamp 2008 session dates:

July 25-26-27-28 (Extended Session)
August 22-23-24
September 19-20-21

Terry's FabriCamp's are relaxed, all day sessions in her new studio in Lawrence Kansas. Evenings are free study time, looking thru her historical quilt books, interesting conversations with each other, studying fabric and notebooks with good advice about collecting vintage fabric and photographs for your own study.

What will you see at FabriCamp?
Vintage quilts, tops, and blocks dating from c. 1790-1945. Notebooks of collected cotton and delaine (wool and cotton,) fabrics. Women and children's clothing that help you make the connection between clothing and quilts. Terry also has an interesting collection of crocheted, knitted and needlework embroidery you might find interesting and amusing.

What do classes cost?
In consideration of the cost of fuel and airline travel, I have decided to reduce the cost of FabriCamp 2008. Classes are now $150 for each 3-day weekend, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Terry plans one extended session of FabriCamp per year. She adds one more day to allow reviewing a special collection, or to enjoy an annual summer quilt show at the Spencer Art Museum curated by Barbara Brackman. Cost is $175 for the four day extended session.

Terry welcomes quilt shop owners, appraisers, dealers, collectors and anyone who loves old fabrics, quilts and clothes. You are invited to bring your own quilts to share and learn how to date them.

Space allows 10-12 people, and if you have a group that would like to schedule a special session, that will be arranged. Pictures are allowed. Come join in the fun while increasing your knowledge of this great heritage of English and American quilts and fabrics.

After you register for a class you will receive a SIMPLE supply list as well as hotel and transportation information.

Where do I sign up?
Here's a link to a printable form. It is an Adobe Acrobat pdf file. If you need Acrobat Reader, you can get it here, it's free. If you want to enroll in one of the sessions, fill out the form and send it back to my studio address shown below. If you have any questions you can contact me here:
